Obstetrics: Stages of Pregnancy

18-20 Weeks

This visit will be similar to your routine visits.

At this time you will be asked to provide a urine sample in addition to having a “tummy check” and blood pressure check. In addition to your routine check you will receive an ultrasound to measure for size of the fetus as well as to check for malformations. Your provider will be available to help you with any questions and/or concerns that you may have at this point.

This is an exciting time in your pregnancy! You will finally begin to see what your new baby looks like!
