Fertility: Post Coital Testing

This test examines the ability of sperm to enter and move into the cervical mucus at ovulation. The couple is instructed to have sexual intercourse. A few hours after, in our office the cervical mucus is evaluated. The number of sperm and motility is seen by swabbing the vagina (cervical mucus) and evaluating the specimen under the microscope.
