Fertility: Follicular Scans

This is an ultrasound that is usually done between day 12 and 14 of your cycle. This scan is useful because the follicles (eggs) are measured to see if they are the appropriate size for conception to take place. Sometimes medicines are used to help mature the follicles if the size of the follicles are too small.
